The Undertaker and The New Day will be seen in a new interactive film to be released by WWE and Netflix in a joint venture. The flick is set to hit the OTT platform in time for Halloween. 2021. Netflix Interactive announced today that “Escape The Undertaker” will be released on Tuesday, October 5 to be precise.

As noted, this upcoming interactive film will feature The Undertaker and The New Day faction of the WWE – Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E. The viewers of this movie will get to decide the fate of The New Day as they enter The Deadman’s mansion. The synopsis of the movie was released by Polygon,
“In this interactive film featuring WWE Superstars, The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion. What they don’t know: The Undertaker’s mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges. It’s up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker.”

The Undertaker himself posted a tweet on this upcoming project as she stated the following,
“Be careful whose door you knock on… never know who is on the other side! [urn emoji].”
Update on The Undertaker’s Smackdown appearance
As reported earlier, The Undertaker was rumored to make his return to WWE programming on this Friday’s Super SmackDown at Madison Square Garden. While no confirmations were there, speculations have that he might make via satellite appearance on the show for a promo session.
In an update, WWFOldSchool reports that those rumors are false, and there are no plans for the legendary superstar to return to WWE programming, anytime soon.

The Undertaker last appeared on WWE programming at Survivor Series 2020, where he officially announced his retirement as a wrestler. His last match took place in the main event of WrestleMania 36 Night One where he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match.
On a related note, Taker’s final SmackDown appearance took place at Madison Square Garden in 2019, where he made a special appearance to deliver a chokeslam on Sami Zayn. While he will be absent from WWE at MSG, this week, Brock Lesnar is set to make his return on Smackdown.
