Survivor Series 2021 is the final Big-Four PPV night of the year alongside Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and Summerslam. November 21st is the fixed date of the next big-four night and it’s barely just two weeks away in the calendar. But going in contrast to other years, WWE hasn’t begun the promotions around the show. They also have a reason behind doing this.

At this point, WWE only has a few episodes of RAW and SmackDown left before Survivor Series 2021 on November 21st, but they haven’t booked anything for the show. Even no promotional has been released for the PPV event except for the only reference that the annual November pay-per-view will be hosted in its original slot. But it raised eyebrows of the fans that they haven’t confirmed any matches for the event.

Survivor Series 2021: Why WWE Hasn’t Promoted The PPV 1

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE hasn’t touched Survivor Series 2021 yet because they wanted the bygone Crown Jewel to get some attention. Even they wanted the fallouts of the show to continue through the bygone weeks. Now that WWE’s trip to Saudi Arabia is over, the company will now focus on the upcoming event.

Nothing is confirmed around WWE Survivor Series 2021

However, there’s no confirmed update on when’d the build begin.

“I was told the mentality behind not having promoted it at all is that they felt they pushed Crown Jewel as hard as they could and the most important thing now is to get over new feuds with the new rosters and let the new rosters settle in on television, and then push Survivor Series the final weeks.”

Previously, WWE has revealed the theme of November’s Survivor Series 2021 to be a battle between Raw and SmackDown. WWE has reportedly had issues selling their tickets for the show set from The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Many fans are hyped up to witness a potential battle between WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Champion Big E matchup since September with the champion vs. champion theme attached to the show.

Reigns’ cousins The Usos will also be at Survivor Series 2021 to compete in another champion vs. champion match against Raw tag team champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle). Confirmations regarding these matches should be received in due course.
