Championship Matches from men’s and women’s divisions were already confirmed for WWE NXT Heatwave 2022 edition. Apart from these co-main-event matches set for the upcoming episode, three more matches have been added to the card after what transpired on last night’s NXT 2.0.
NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will put his championship on the line, next week against Giovanni Vinci on WWE NXT Heatwave, next week. His comes after Vinci confronted Hayes in the ring after the latter issued an Open Challenge for next week’s event. Hayes accepted the challenge to make the match, official, right away.

Former tag team partners, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez will also duke it out in a highly personal battle at WWE NXT NXT Heatwave in a Grudge Match. Jade turned heel on Perez, just a week after they won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles together to begin the feud. This also cost Perez a shot to the NXT Women’s Championship held by Mandy Rose.
In the main event of this week’s NXT episode, Jade lost to the new number-one contender for the NXT Title, Zoey Stark. Rose had originally recruited Jade to take out Stark in order to give her a title match at WWE NXT Heatwave but Perez allowed Stark to secure the win. After Jade’s loss to Stark, Perez chased Jade to the back with a kendo stick after which the match was confirmed.
When Sasha Banks And Naomi Agreed To Come Back To WWE
Santos Escobar and Tony D’Angelo will also feature in a Street Fight at WWE NXT Heatwave. As agreed during the Final Accord segment, the stipulation states that if Tony wins then Santos will leave NXT but his allies Elektra Lopez, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro will be recruited by Tony. But if Santos wins then Lopez, Wilde, and Del Toro will go back to Legado del Fantasma.
