This week’s WWE NXT 2.0 episode was the final one before NXT Heatwave with the main event match featuring Cora Jade vs. Zoey Stark. Nikkita Lyons was in action against her current rival while two faction leaders of NXT appeared in a final accord segment.
Also, Carmelo Hayes received the next challenger for his NXT North American Title on the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– Nikkita Lyons defeated Kiana James in the opening match of WWE NXT by delivering her cross-leg-drop finisher. After the match, she was celebrating her win but James ambushed her from behind with a steel chair.
WWE Raw: Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Kicks Off
– In a Rounds Match, Wes Lee defeated Trick Williams (with WWE NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes). This was a boxing-type bout where Lee knocked out his opponent to get the win.
After the match, Carmelo Hayes cut a promo about no one being able to dethrone him from his ongoing title reign with the North American Championship. Giovanni Vinci interrupted him and accepted the Open Challenge issued by Hayes to set up the title match at Heatwave.

– Arianna Grace defeated Thea Hail (with Chase University members). The short match witnessed Grace delivering a big boot followed by a fireman’s carry slam to secure the win.
– Apollo Crews defeated Roderick Strong to get his second win since his WWE NXT return. Crews backfired with a Backbreaker after digesting some technical moves before getting the pin-fall win via a chokeslam.
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (09/08/22): Final Accord Segment
– Tony D’Angelo and Santos Escobar were featured in the final accord segment and agreed to have a match at Heatwave. The stipulation is that if Santos loses then he will leave WWE NXT and will never come back, here. But if he wins then Santos and his Legado del Fantasma members will be reinstated, free from the D’Angelo family. The match will also be a Street Fight.
– Pretty Deadly – Elton Prince and Kit Wilson defeated Malik Blade and Edris Enofe in a tag team match. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen were present at ringside to prevent Pretty Deadly from cheating in the match for the win. But Prince still sent Edris into a steel chair while Kit hit the Spilt Milk for the pin to win. After the match, Fallon Henley was attacked by Lash Legend in the ring.
– Zoey Stark defeated Cora Jade in the main event of WWE NXT 2.0. Jade tried to use weapons and cheat her way to the win but Roxanne Perez neutralized the scene. Stark hit her finisher to get the win while she also executed her finisher on WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, after the match. Stark posed with the title to end the show.
