Herschelle Gibbs (South Africa) – 10 sixes

As a host nation in the 2003 ODI World Cup, South Africa hugely disappointed as they just failed to qualify in the Super Sixes. However, their opener Herschelle Gibbs performed dominantly in that tournament as South Africa’s leading run-scorer in that tournament Gibbs scored 384 runs in six matches. The right-handed opening batsman Gibbs smashed a total of 10 sixes in that tournament.
During their journey in the Group Stage of that tournament, Gibbs smashed four sixes against Kenya (87 not out) and three sixes against New Zealand (143 runs).
