John Davison (Canada) – 12 sixes

During the 2003 ODI World Cup, Canada became famous for John Davison’s aggressive batting. Canada’s leading run-scorer in that tournament, the right-handed opening batsman Davison scored 226 runs in six innings. During that tournament, Davison hit 12 sixes.
While he recorded the fastest Cricket World Cup century against West Indies (67-ball century) at Centurion on 23rd February 2003, where he scored 111 runs off just 76 balls, Davison hit six sixes along with eight fours. Also, during the knock of 75 runs off 62 balls against New Zealand (at Benoni on 3rd March 2003), Davison hit four sixes and nine fours.
