Indian captain Sourav Ganguly performed impressively in the 2003 ODI World Cup, where the left-handed batsman hit the most number of centuries (three) and also scored the second-most runs in that tournament (465 runs). During that tournament, Ganguly smashed a total of 15 sixes – the most number of sixes for a batsman in that tournament.
During his semi-final knock against Kenya (111 not out), Ganguly hit five sixes which was his most sixes in an innings in that tournament. Earlier, in the Group Stage, when Ganguly scored 112 runs against Namibia, the left-handed batsman hit four sixes.
