Australian left-arm spinner Brad Hogg was outstanding with the ball during the 2007 ODI World Cup. He finished that tournament as the most wicket-taker among the left-arm bowlers. Hogg managed to pick up 21 wickets in 11 matches of that tournament. His overall bowling figures in that tournament were 82.5-6-332-21 with an average of 15.80 and economy rate of 4.00.

During that tournament, Hogg managed to claim two four-wicket hauls. During the Group Stage game against the Netherlands (at Basseterre on 18th March 2007), Hogg had the bowling figures of 4.5-0-27-4. Later, in the Super 8 stage, the left-arm spinner had the bowling figures of 6.5-1-29-4 against New Zealand (at St George’s on 20th April 2007).
