Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait was very impressive during the 2007 ODI World Cup. The right-arm fast bowler was the second most wicket-taker for Australia in that tournament where he bagged 23 wickets in 11 matches. During that tournament, Tait had the overall bowling figures of 84.3-1-467-23 wickets with an average of 20.30 and economy rate of 5.52.

Tait managed to claim four 3+ wicket hauls in that tournament, including one four-wicket haul. He managed to deliver his best bowling performance during the semi-final of the tournament against South Africa (at Gros Islet on 25th April 2007), where his strong bowling performance (10-0-39-4) helped his team to restrict their opponents for just 149 runs.
