South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir, who made his international debut during the 2011 World Cup, stunned everyone with his impressive bowling in that entire tournament. Tahir finished that tournament as the second most wicket-taker among the South African bowlers as he took 14 wickets in just five matches of that tournament. At the end of that tournament, Tahir had the overall bowling figures of 39.3-2-150-14, including two four-wicket hauls.
On his ODI debut, which was the match against West Indies at Delhi on 24th February 2011 (during the Group Stage of the tournament), Tahir managed the bowling figures of 10-1-41-4. Later, during the match against England at Chennai on 6th March 2011 (during the Group Stage of that tournament), his bowling figures were 8.4-1-38-4.
