The middle-order batsman didn’t get the chance to bat in the finals of the World Cup. As the job was done by Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. He was a profitable player during the tournament. The advantage which comes with Raina is that he can be a sixth bowling option for the team.

Suresh Raina hasn’t played international cricket for quite a time now, the reason being his form and also he underwent knee surgery. However, the player is ready to make a strong comeback in the upcoming IPL 2020 edition. The 13th edition will be important for him to impress the selectors and team management of the Indian team.

A few weeks ago, Raina did express his desire of representing India at the World Cup, so, the selectors might have an eye on the player’s performance.
