Ross Taylor (New Zealand) – 14 sixes
While New Zealand were semi-finalists in the 2011 World Cup, Ross Taylor played an important role for their batting side. The right-handed top-middle-order batsman Taylor finished that tournament as the most six-hitter as he hit a total 14 sixes in six innings.
Taylor’s best performance as a batsman in that tournament was against Pakistan during the Group Stage of that tournament (at Pallekele on 8th March 2011), where the Kiwi batsman played the game-changing knock of 131 not out off 124 balls with the help of eight fours and seven sixes.
Later, in another Group Stage match against Canada (at Mumbai on 13th March 2011), Taylor smashed five sixes during the knock of 74 runs off just 44 balls.
