South African left-arm spinner Robin Peterson hugely impressed during the 2011 World Cup. He was the most wicket-taker for South Africa in that tournament where he picked up 15 wickets in seven matches of that tournament. His overall bowling figures in that tournament were 56-5-238-15 with an average of 15.86 and economy rate of 4.25.
During that tournament, Peterson had the best bowling figures of 7-3-12-4. He achieved that bowling figures during the Group Stage match against the co-hosts Bangladesh at Dhaka on 19th March 2011.
