The Netherlands’ right-arm pacer Ahsan Malik bowled impressively in the 2014 T20 World Cup as he took 12 wickets in seven matches of that tournament. His tournament bowling figures were 24.5-0-166-12 with an average of 13.83 and economy rate 6.68.
Malik claimed one five-wicket haul in that global tournament. During the Super 10 stage match against South Africa (at Chattogram on 27th March 2014), Malik had the bowling figures of 4-019-5. It was the second-best bowling figures in an innings of that tournament.
