South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir finished the 2014 T20 World Cup as the most wicket-taker. Though he also took 12 wickets in that tournament, the Proteas leggie played only five matches. After bowling 20 overs in that tournament, Tahir finished that tournament with the overall bowling figures of 20-0-131-12 with an average of 10.91 and economy rate 6.55.

In that tournament, Tahir’s best bowling performance came during the Super 10 stage game against the Netherlands at Chattogram on 27th March 2014. He had the bowling figures of 4-0-21-4 in that game.
