New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi bagged 10 wickets in five matches of the 2016 T20 World Cup. At the end of that tournament, his overall bowling figures were 19.4-0-120-10 with an average 12.00 and an economy rate of 6.10.

During that tournament, Sodhi managed to claim three-wicket hauls for twice, both in the Super 10 Stage. He had the bowling figures of 4-0-18-3 against India (at Nagpur on 15th March 2016) and then managed the bowling figures of 3.4-0-21-3 against Bangladesh (at Kolkata on 26th March 2016).

 

Mitchell Santner (New Zealand) – 10 wickets

Another New Zealand spinner, the slow left-arm orthodox bowler Mitchell Santner also took 10 wickets in five matches of the 2016 T20 World Cup. He had the overall bowling figures in that tournament of 18.1-0-114-10 (average 11.40; economy rate 6.27).

During their opening game of that tournament, which was against the hosts India in the Super 10 Stage (at Nagpur on 15th March 2016), Santner provided the Player of the Match award-winning performance of 4-0-11-4.
