It was 23rd match of the 2016 T20 World Cup (Super 10 Stage). After New Zealand decided to bat first, opener Martin Guptill provided the impressive start which also became the deciding factor of the game.
Guptill scored 80 runs off 48 balls in that game. During that knock, the right-handed batsman managed to score 58 runs from the boundaries as he hit 10 fours and 3 sixes.
His batting helped the Kiwi side to score 180/5 (20 overs) in the first innings. In reply, Pakistan only managed to score 158/5 (20 overs) as New Zealand won that match by 22 runs.
