- Highest 2nd innings total – South Africa had scored 305 runs (50 overs) in the 2nd innings of the match against India at Cardiff on 6th June 2013. Despite suffering a defeat in that match, it is the highest 2nd innings total in the ICC Champions Trophy history.

- Highest 6th and 9th wicket partnership – South African batsmen Mark Boucher and Justin Kemp had put up 131 runs partnership for the 6th wicket against Pakistan at Mohali on 27th October 2006. It is the highest 6th wicket partnership for any team in the ICC Champions Trophy history.
On the other hand, 95 runs partnership between David Miller and Rory Kleinveldt for the 9th wicket (against England at The Oval on 19th June 2013) is the highest 9th wicket partnership for any team in this tournament history.
- Most no.of 5-wicket hauls for a team – Three South African bowlers have claimed 5-wicket haul once each in the ICC Champions Trophy. It is the most no. of 5-wicket hauls for a team in the ICC Champions Trophy history.
- Best bowling figure in an innings by a host bowler – Wayne Parnell holds the record of best bowling figure in an innings as a host bowler in the ICC Champions Trophy history. That bowling figure was 8-0-57-5 against New Zealand at Centurion on 24th September 2009.
- Highest individual score as a host batsman – Graeme Smith’s 141 runs knock (against England at Centurion on 27th September 2009) is the highest individual knock for a host batsman in the ICC Champions trophy history.
