When it comes to the ODI cricket, the one name that comes to mind is that of Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, who has been in sublime form in this format of the game.

Despite being in sensational form and ending the year as the highest run scorer in ODI cricket, Kohli is still 5th on the list for batsmen with highest averages in ODI cricket in 2017.

However, it cannot be denied that Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the two Indian batsmen on the list who have played the maximum ODI’s at the end of this year compared to the others belonging to the category for highest averages in 2017. IND VS ENG NEW UPDATE

The list is headed by Anshuman Rath of Hong Kong who managed to get into the list courtesy one sublime knock of an unbeaten 143 against the Netherlands early in the year.

He averages a staggering 180 in just a couple of matches while Aussie all-rounder Marcus Stoinis occupies the 2nd position with an average of 113.66. In seven games he had scored 341 runs while Jonny Bairstow comes on the 3rd spot with an average of 106.80 at the end of this year.

Babar Hayat and Imam-ul-Haq of Pakistan who recently made their debut found themselves on the list courtesy impressive performances in the limited opportunities they have got so far. Team India skipper Virat Kohli is 5th on the list with an average of 76.84 while Rohit Sharma is 8th with a stunning average of 71.8.

He scored 1293 runs in 21 matches at a staggering strike rate of 99.46.

Joe Root and Babar Azam occupy the 9th and the 10th position, respectively with averages of 70.21 and 67.07.
