Liam Plunkett, 2019 ODI World Cup, batsman, strike-rate, Batsmen With Highest Strike-Rate In An Innings

It was the 12th game (League Stage) of the 2019 ODI World Cup. After Bangladesh sent the hosts England to bat first, while opener Jason Roy (153) played a brilliant giant knock to open up the path for the big total, many other English batsmen also utilised the situation very well.

The no.8 batsman Liam Plunkett came to bat when England were 341/6 in 47.1 overs. At the end of that first innings, when England scored 386/6 (50 overs), Plunkett remained not out on 27 runs off just nine balls (4 fours and only six) with the strike rate of 300.00.

In reply, despite the century of Shakib Al Hasan (121), Bangladesh were bowled out for 280 runs (48.5 overs) and England won that match by 106 runs.
