1. Sir Don Bradman- 299 vs South Africa, 1932
Considered to be the greatest batsmen of all time by many cricketers, Sir Don Bradman was a phenom to deal with when he was at his peak during his playing days. During his international stint, Don Bradman scored two 300s and nearly scored a third 300 in the year 1932 against South Africa in Adelaide.
However, he remained not out on an individual score of 299 in the first innings of the match as all other Australian batsmen departed. Unfortunately, Sir Don Bradman couldn’t reach his 3rd triple-century. However, it does not deny the fact that Sir Don Bradman will forever be one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport.
