Yuvraj Singh:
The Indian southpaw lost his charm after recovering from cancer. He was picked up for the World T20 at home where he contributed with some much needed sensible knocks but failed to show his old form. He has suffered a hamstring during the last group match against Australia in the World T20.
In 2016 when he returned in T20 cricket he hit two sixes in the last over to ensure India’s victory.
But against the same Australia, he struggled in the World T20. In IPL too he hit a couple of sixes and fours but he was never seen in his best form. He played a good innings against Delhi Daredevils in the last league match and qualifier against Gujarat Lions to ensure his team’s victory. His fielding was also up to the mark. But there is always a question about his fitness required for playing in international cricket. So he should continue in domestic and franchised based T20 cricket but should vacant his place to a young cricketer. His age will is very prone to injury so he should play T20 cricket and bid the game adieu.
