Jacques Kallis – 5.5 Crores:
South African cricket legend Jacques Kallis was a star attraction in the IPL auction in 2011 IPL auction where KKR eventually won the bid and bought his for a cool 5.5 crores. Kallis unarguably is the best all-rounder we have seen after Sir Gary Sobers. The Proteas star brought the perfect mix of experience and superior cricketing skills into the team. He proved his worth by playing a key role in KKR’s first title win in 2012, taking 15 wickets and scored 409 runs. Kallis ended his IPL playing career with 2427 runs in 98 matches and has now been appointed by the management to mentor the side.
