Wasim Jaffer has not got deserving chances in the Indian team but he is the living legend in domestic cricket. He has the most number of runs in first-class cricket. However, he should be blamed for his failure in international cricket for not converting the chances in his favour.
Currently, he holds the record of scoring maximum runs to his name in the 85-year long history of the tournament. He has scored 19410 runs in 260 first-class matches at an average of 50.67 with 57 centuries and the highest score of 314*.
He had to every time work hard to get back his place on the national side. However, with the likes of Gautam Gambhir, he again cannot mark the entry.
