It was also the match between India and Pakistan and it was played in Asia Cup 2010 at Dambulla. This time, Gambhir fought with Pakistan wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal.
India was chasing 268 runs where Indian opener Gambhir and skipper MS Dhoni were at the crease. Once Kamran Akmal zealously appealed for a catch which umpires dismissed. Following that umpire called drinks break where Gambhir and Akmal were exchanging words. Umpire Billy Bowden and Indian skipper MS Dhoni cooled down that situation by splitting them.
However, Gambhir was dismissed two overs later as he failed to add any more runs on his score. Yet India won the match in thrilling circumstances by 3 wickets with the only one ball to spare.
