This is a very special name in Indian cricket history. Not only the Indians but the other cricket nations were also fascinated with Sachin Tendulkar‘s batting skills. In India, he is the god of cricket as many people worship him.

Sachin Tendulkar played international cricket from 1989 to 2013. The right-handed batsman scored 34,357 runs in 664 international matches (average 48.52). While he is the only batsman to score 100 international centuries, he is still holding many batting and international matches records. Also, he was a very useful bowler as he took 201 international wickets.

Tendulkar was one of the heroes for India to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. In that tournament, he was the second most run-scorer as he scored 482 runs in nine matches with an average of 53.55.

After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Tendulkar’s performances were not much impressive for most of the times. However, he took much time before announcing his retirement from international cricket.
