Javed Miandad (Pakistan)

Former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad had a long international cricket career which ran from 1975 to 1996. When he ended his international career, Miandad was the most run-scorer for Pakistan in international cricket history. While he played 357 international matches, the right-handed batsman scored 16,213 runs with an average of 46.99.
Miandad was one of the heroes for Pakistan during their victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. He was the second most run-scorer in that tournament as he scored 437 runs in nine innings with an average of 62.42.
Due to his consistently struggle, Miandad’s international career was almost ended in December 1993. But he suddenly appeared in the 1996 Cricket World Cup, even without playing an international match since December 1993. However, his presence didn’t work positively for his team in the 1996 Cricket World Cup.
