Five Lowest Totals In IPL History 1

Rajasthan Royals’ 58 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Capetown in 2009

Just like the inaugural edition, the second edition of the IPL was a huge success. Though it was hosted by South Africa, the viewers didn’t disappoint to see the local Indian tournament held on the bouncy tracks. The second match of the edition was a big disaster for the 2008 champions Rajasthan Royals. After opting to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored a mere 133; thanks to Rahul Dravid’s fighting 66 off 48 balls.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals were confident of achieving the target with their young talent but Shane Warne’s warriors stumbled in front of experienced bowling attack of RCB. Legend Anil Kumble delivered his one of the top performances with five wickets for as many runs.
