As time progresses, batsmen have increased their domination in the cricket due to the improvement of equipment, including adding some safety guards. However, still, the pacers scare the batsmen with their fiery pace and bouncers. During the Melbourne Test in 1999/2000 summer (December 1999), Indian pacer Javagal Srinath‘s one furious delivery, which clocked 135.0 km/h, hit on Ricky Pointing‘s helmet. That hit shook Ponting who became angry and frustrated on Srinath. Soon after that incident, both the players were involved in little exchange of words.
