Javagal Srinath to Meyrick Pringle
In was the Johannesburg Test match between the hosts South Africa and the visitors India in November 1992 where Javagal Srinath again took the headline for his brutal bowling. On the day two of that Test, Srinath’s one lethal delivery hit on Meyrick Pringle’s eye. That hugely hurt the Proteas tailender who immediately needed treatment and soon he moved on from the ground with the help of a stretcher. He remained unavailable for the remainder of that match.
