Robin Uthappa: 
The Kolkata Knight Riders and Karnataka wicketkeeper and the opening batsman are overlooked by selectors. Uthappa has been consistent in domestic season in the last couple of years. In IPL, he too performed well but BCCI’s agenda to go young hampered their chance to play for India. Uthappa in IPL 9 played 14 matches and scored 383 runs with a highest of 72. This figure is not an as good as Uthappa’s last couple of years performance. But selectors choose young prospect over him.
