DLF Cup – 2005/06

In April 2006, India and Pakistan played a two-match ODI series at Abu Dhabi. It was named DLF Cup 2005/06. It was a friendship cup as the revenue of those matches was utilized to help the victims of the 2005 Kashmir earthquake.
Pakistan won the first match by six wickets while India won the last game by 51 runs. As that series finished with the 1-1 scoreline, both teams shared that DLF Cup trophy. It was a giant trophy, which is very unusual in international cricket, and the captains Rahul Dravid (India) and Inzamam-ul-Haq (Pakistan) were handed that trophy.
