Here we are first talking about the Dhaka Premier League 2013. It was the List A competition. Unlike the most recent edition, the foreigners could take part in this competition in the earlier period.

English cricketer Luke Wright served for the Abahani Limited in the Dhaka Premier League 2013. During that tournament, Luke Wright won the Player of the Match award on 31st October 2013 during the match against Victoria Sporting Club, where his bowling figures were 5-0-33-3 and he also scored 66 runs off 49 balls (8 fours and only six).

As a Player of the Match award winner, Wright was awarded a blender during the presentation ceremony. Wright shared that experience on his Twitter account where he also claimed that he never received a blender as the Player of the Match award before that game.

Former Ireland cricketer and present World Cup-winning England limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan also experienced the Dhaka Premier League (List A format). As a Player of the Match award winner in that tournament, he once received a rice cooker. This certainly makes it into the weirdest trophies in cricket
