Coca-Cola Cup – 1997/98
The 1997/98 Coca-Cola Cup was the ODI tri-nation series. Sharjah hosted that tournament in April 1998 where India, Australia, and New Zealand participated in that tournament. It was that most talking tournament where the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar dominated the legendary Australian leg-spinner, Shane Warne.
Mohammad Azharuddin-led Indian team won that tournament after beating the Australian team in the final of that tournament (by six wickets). The tournament trophy was weird as the giant Coca-Cola bottle-cap design was attached to the trophy.
