5. Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik is 34 years old right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, who plays domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu. Karthik is known for his heroics in the Nidahas Trophy which took place last year where he scored 29 off 9 including a last-ball six to help India lift the trophy.
Karthik has been playing international cricket since 2004. He has been in and out of the side due to MS Dhoni’s presence throughout his career. The veteran cricketer is a star attraction in the IPL and is currently leading the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL for the last two years.
Karthik can be a good replacement for Rishabh Pant in T20Is with the World T20 lined-up next year in Australia. Karthik has been exceptional in the T20 format always, be it for India, KKR or playing in Tamil Nadu Premier League.
