Despite having a relatively short figure as compared to his other fast bowling counterparts, he could still clock up 90 mph regularly and had the ability to reverse swing the old ball. Importantly, he was a wicket-taking bowler, which is the one quality that the current crop of pace bowlers lack.
Certainly, he could be an option for the BCCI to look after. He got the fair knowledge of Indian cricket, which would help the team to get used to him as quickly as possible. Currently, he is looking after key aspects in Mumbai cricket and also started his career as a cricket Analyst.
