Starting in 2017, Rohit and Rahul have played as the opening pair in 22 international innings, where their partnership has scored 1550 runs (average 70.45), including seven century-partnerships. Their highest opening stand is 227 runs against West Indies in Visakhapatnam ODI on 18th December 2019.
