Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan (20)

After the success in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, the Indian team has continuously followed the opening partnership of Rohit Sharma-Shikhar Dhawan in the limited-overs cricket. Whether it is a match in a bilateral series or a tournament, they always provide their best as an opening partner. There is no doubt why they are on top of this list.
Since India’s opening game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, Dhawan-Rohit opened for the Indian team in 159 innings where the left-right hand combination has scored 6545 runs (average 41.42). They have provided 20 century-partnerships, including their best stand of 210 runs against Pakistan in Dubai (DSC) ODI on 23rd September 2018.
However, they haven’t opened in the Test cricket yet as Rohit has just started as a Test opener from last October while Dhawan hasn’t played a Test match since September 2018.
