Australia will then host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 from 18th October to 15th November 2020.

After that tournament, India will play the three-match ODI series and four-match Test series against the hosts Australia. While the ODI series will be the part of the 2020–22 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, the Test series will also be the part of the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship.

However, Australia and many other countries in the world are battling against the novel COVID-19 or coronavirus. This virus has set up the doubtful future for the public events in Australia at least for this calendar year. Moreover, according to the present rules in Australia, visitors must have to face 14 days of isolation.

In the meantime, according to the recent report in “The Age”, the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) chief Keith Bradshaw has offered the Cricket Australia (CA) chief Kevin Roberts to utilise Adelaide Oval’s new hotel as the quarantine centre for the Indian team.
