Craig Kieswetter

Former English wicket-keeper batsman Craig Kieswetter played during IPL era but didn’t get an opportunity to feature in the IPL. Apart from his wicketkeeping, Kieswetter was also famous for his batting.
The right-handed batsman played 46 ODIs and 25 T20Is for England where he scored 1,054 runs (average 30.11) and 526 runs (average 21.91) respectively. His ODI career strike-rate was 89.93 while his T20I career strike-rate was 111.91. Kieswetter played an important role for England to win the ICC World T20 2010 where he was fourth-most run-getter (222 runs) and also won the Player of the Match award in the final of that tournament.
In his T20 career, Kieswetter scored 3,367 runs in 124 matches (average 31.76) with the strike-rate of 122.30. He hit 29 fifties in T20 career, including three half-centuries in T20I career.
Unfortunately, Kieswetter’s cricket career ended due to a horrific eye injury which he got during a cricket match. Though he returned to the game after undergoing facial surgery as the nose was also broken along with fractured cheekbone, Kieswetter failed to recover for cricket fully. Finally, in June 2015, he retired from cricket, and now he becomes a professional golfer.
As he was a very talented batsman, we can say that Kieswetter may achieve success if he featured in the IPL.
