Recently, the 37-year-old veteran Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra revealed his favourite batsmen and bowlers in the world cricket. Undoubtedly, the Indians are dominating in his choices.
After making his international debut in 2003, Amit Mishra faced many ups and downs in his cricket career. He only managed to appear in 22 Tests, 36 ODIs and 10 T20Is till 2017, where he picked up 76, 64 and 16 wickets respectively. Though his stats are attractive enough, Mishra hasn’t earned more opportunities for the Indian team.
However, he is very successful in the professional cricket career. In 152 first-class matches and the same number of List A games, Mishra has taken 535 and 252 wickets respectively. Moreover, the leg-spinner has also managed to claim 253 wickets in 229 T20s.
In IPL history, Mishra is the second most wicket-taker as he has bagged 157 wickets in 147 matches. At present, he is serving for the Delhi Capitals (DC), where he joined for the second time before the IPL 2015.
Recently, in an interview with his present IPL team, Mishra revealed his favourite choices in various aspects. When he was asked about his favourite performance in his career, Mishra chose his debutant Test in October 2008 during the Mohali Test against Australia. He was selected as the replacement of the injured-legendary Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble, who was also the Indian Test captain at that time, and Mishra managed to pick up five and two wickets in that Test.

In the meantime, Mishra named the legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag as his all-time favourite batsmen.
Amit Mishra ended that interview by revealing his favourite bowlers. Among the spinners, he named the legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne and the Indian legend Anil Kumble.
