England Opener Zak Crawley is pumped up for the much-awaited second test of the Ashes Series starting on June 28 in iconic Lord’s. World Test Champions Australia lead the series 1-0 after a thrilling win in the last session of the 1st test, with Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon putting in a partnership in the final session to take their team home on high octane clash.

Ben Stokes-led side dominated the 1st match from the start of the game, as they performed brilliantly well to reduce Australia to 227-8 in the chase 280 runs before the Australian skipper batted with a lot of grit alongside Nathan Lyon to win the game for his side. England’s team will look to make a comeback in the favourite hunting ground in the 2nd test to level the series.

England opener Zak Crawley had a decent outing with the bat scoring a half-century in the 1st innings. Speaking on the Times Radio, The 25-year-old is confident of his team doing well in the 2nd test in Lord’s, as the pitch will their team and predicts that their team would win the game by 150 runs or so.

“I think we’ll win, I think the pitch will suit us a bit more so I think we’ll win by, I don’t know, 150 runs?” Zak Crawley said

England team hasn’t held the Ashes since 2015. However, their form has been outstanding in the past 12 months, as they playing an aggressive brand of cricket going for an outright win in every session they play in the match completely bringing a new approach to test cricket. They will continue the same approach going forward against Australia in the coming matches.

Zak Crawley revealed that their team wanted to play an aggressive brand of cricket irrespective of the results in the game and reckons that this kind of match makes the game more interesting and believes that they will surely win the games with the brand of cricket the team is playing at the moment in the upcoming games.

 “We’re not about results. We’re not about winning or losing, we’re about entertainment. That’s why we took [this loss] better than other losses perhaps because it was great for the game”.
