Perhaps, Rishabh Pant has got one of the career-defining series under his belt through the ongoing series between Australia and India. He attracted all the cricket fanatics right from Australia’s prime minister to the young kids with his sledging and also rocked the show with his majestic strokeplay. Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan calls him next superstar.
Rishabh Pant smashed a brilliant unbeaten 159* runs to his name in the first Innings of the Fourth and Final Test at Sydney. His incredible knock helped India to put a massive total of 622/7 on the board before declaring the innings.
Meanwhile, the former English cricketer, Michael Vaughan, who was pretty impressed with the show by Rishabh Pant, quoted that Pant is a next-generation superstar. Further, he praises his skills, power and a touch of class to his batting.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”So young… But Rishabh Pant is Crickets next superstar .. So much skill, Power & touch .. & very good on the stump mic.”

Rishabh Pant scored his second Test century:
Earlier in the day, Pant came into the middle when India was already cruising on 329/5 in the first session of Day 2 and went on to share an 89-run stand with Cheteshwar Pujara before following that up with a 100-plus* stand with Ravindra Jadeja.

Then, he went on to become the only Asian wicketkeeper-batsman to score a hundred in Australia. And also, he is the only batsman from India to score a hundred in Australia and England.
Besides that, Pant is also only the second visiting wicketkeeper to register hundreds in both England and Australia. Jeffery Dujon was the first when he scored centuries in Manchester and Perth in 1984. All in all, he became the owner of quite a few stats.
