Matthew Hayden (Australia) – average 51.33
Former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, who played the international cricket from 1993 to 2009, was one of the greatest openers in international cricket history. The cricket world was always scared with his aggressive batting whose start was enough to smash the entire confidence of his oppositions.
In his late international career, Hayden played the T20I cricket from 2005 to 2007, where the left-handed opening batsman played nine T20Is. Even playing very lesser T20I matches, Hayden put a strong impact as he scored 308 runs in nine innings, including three not out innings, and ended up with the batting average of 51.33. In his short T20I career, Hayden hit four half-centuries, including his best knock of 73 not out. His T20I strike-rate was also impressive which was 143.92.
