Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers, who is undoubtedly one of the greatest batsmen in the world cricket history, has also experienced the IPL centuries for two different teams. Out of his three IPL centuries, while his first hundred was for the Delhi Daredevils (DD), the last two centuries were for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

In the IPL 2009, during the match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Durban on 23rd April 2009, De Villiers hit 51-ball century as his 105 not out off 54 balls (5 fours and 6 sixes) helped his team Delhi Daredevils to manage the first innings total of 189/5 (20 overs). In reply, the CSK scored 180/9 (20 overs) as the Delhi franchise won that match by nine runs.

In the IPL 2015 and IPL 2016, RCB star De Villiers smashed one century each against the Mumbai Indians (133 not out off 59 balls) and Gujarat Lions (129 not out off 52 balls) respectively.
