The right-handed top-order batsman Graham Gooch was one of the legendary cricketers in England cricket history. He served for the English ODI side from 1976 to 1995. While England finished as the runners-up in the ICC Cricket World Cup 1979, 1987 and 1992, Gooch was the third most run-scorer in the 1979 edition, leading run-scorer in the 1987 edition and also served as a skipper in the 1992 edition.

During his ODI career, Gooch played 150+ balls in an innings for four times. Those big moments were 115 (159 balls), 117* (164 balls), 136 (162 balls) and 112* (152 balls). He was captain when he played the knock of 112 not out.
