On Friday (1st November) morning, India got a major blow when Rohit Sharma left the net practice due to an injury. Later, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has clarified that Rohit is fit and available in the forthcoming home T20I series against Bangladesh.

Indian players are now preparing for the home T20I series against Bangladesh. From this Sunday (3rd November), India and Bangladesh will begin the three-match T20I series. They will play the opening game of this series at Arun Jaitley Stadium (Delhi).

On Friday morning, Rohit Sharma got a hit during the throwdowns. Before facing the bowlers in the nets, the batsmen normally face the throwdowns which help them to find the proper rhythm.

To handle the Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman, India have brought a special man in the camp. Sri Lankan left-arm throwdown expert Nuwan is this special man. When Rohit was facing his throwdown, one sharp delivery badly hit the Indian opener. According to the PTI report, Rohit wasn’t happy with the pace of that delivery.

The BCCI stated, “Rohit Sharma was hit in the left side of his abdomen while batting in the nets today. BCCI medical team has confirmed that he is fit and available for the first T20 against Bangladesh after assessment of his injury.”

Rohit Sharma is currently one of the most in-form players. As an opening batsman, the 32-year-old is in a dream form in every format.

On the other hand, the possibility of Delhi T20I is still enough doubtful. Delhi’s air quality is continuously deteriorating in the post-Diwali reaction. On Friday, the capital city has announced the public health emergency. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced the school shut till 5th November 2019.

The cricketers are feeling enough trouble to practice in outdoor. Some of the members from the Bangladesh team wore masks during the recent practice.

The BCCI has still decided to go on with the Delhi T20I as per schedule. Due to this decision, the BCCI is facing huge backlashes from many sources.
