The Indian Premier League and all its gala is back to entertain the millions of fans of the sport around the world.
It is that time of the year when players go into boxes, or atleast their names, as they sit and wait, to be sold to the highest bidder.
Yes. It is auction time in the IPL and the first day of the auction has already provided enough entertainment for the fans to get them stuck to their TV sets for another day.
The auction has in the past seen some insane amounts spent on star players but this year, it has taken another step.
England coach Andrew Strauss will be proud of his decision to let the English players to be a part of the T20 tournament as two of his stars stole the show on the first day.

While Tymal Mills was purchased for 12cr INR, Ben Stokes, the entertaining all-rounder went for a mind blowing 14.5cr INR to Rising Pune Supergiants this year.
The English all-rounder has been one of the best players in the world in the shortest format of the game and the fans and the players of RPS are excited for their new team mate.
Steve Smith, the current skipper of the RPS side, after Mahendra Singh Dhoni stepped down, welcomed his new star with a welcome tweet.
The Australian star, who is due to tour India later this month, welcomed Ben Stokes, telling him that the first round is on him.
Here is the tweet:
