Like the batsmen and fielders, bowlers also play a crucial role in every cricket match. A strong bowling unit can build up a strong character of a team.
However, while the limited-overs cricket is now hugely favouring the batsmen, sometimes the bowlers finish with the expensive bowling figures, which could mean in ODI cricket to concede 60+ runs in an innings. Let’s take a look at the five bowlers who conceded 60+ runs in most number of ODIs.
Here we are talking about the top five bowlers who conceded 60+ runs in the most number of ODI innings.
Adil Rashid (England) – 24 times
English leg-spinner Adil Rashid is undoubtedly one of the best spinners in English limited-overs cricket history. He is the most ODI wicket-taker as an English spinner who has taken 146 wickets in 100 ODIs. He played an important role for the English team to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which was England’s first-ever Cricket World Cup trophy.
However, Rashid also conceded 60+ runs in an ODI match for 24 times. His most expensive ODI bowling figures were 10-0-85-5 against West Indies at St George’s on 27th February 2019.
