Lasith Malinga – 1155 balls
The Sri Lankan right-arm fast bowler Lasith Malinga is undoubtedly one of the best bowlers in the IPL history, who is serving for the Mumbai Indians (MI) since his first IPL edition in 2009. He completely missed out the 2016 and 2018 seasons, but still, he is the most wicket-taker in IPL history as he has taken 170 wickets in 122 matches. While Malinga won the Purple Cap in the IPL 2011, he played the important roles for his team to win all their four IPL trophies (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019).
In his remarkable IPL career, Malinga has bowled 471.1 overs, out of which, he delivered 1155 balls as the dot balls, including eight maiden overs.
